When I bought Bourbon February 7th, 2021 it was almost on a whim.. I started looking at prospects but none had fit to my liking. I wanted something stocky, with color... a blue roan! Well Amanda P had private messaged me and sent me a picture of this short, whonky looking bay colt.. and from the second I saw that picture I KNEW I had to have him.. I messaged Audra just a few seconds later and got all the information and pictures I desired of the colt they called “Bourbon.” Audra was super easy to work with, answered all of my countless questions.. and made it super easy to plan a day to meet him. Upon meeting Bourbon, I placed my down payment. He was perfect, he had a the biggest personality, loved scratches on his chest, and was just overall very personable! I still to this day have never met a horse with as much personality as Bourbons. Whiskey stamps his babies, with personality, mind and build. I bought Bourbon as a cow prospect, which is what I still intend to do! But with how snappy he is, we’re gonna pattern on barrels with this three year old year and see what he thinks. W&H Performance horses doesn’t just breed “Performance Horses.” They breed horses with personality, with a love for their person no other horse could match. These babies are yes, bred for cattle but are purely ALL AROUND horses. These horses are bred with purpose, and every second and thought is poured into the correct match upon mare and stallion.

I could not recommend W&H Performance horses enough!
